NPP El-Dabaa
El-Dabaa NPP is Egypt’s first nuclear power facility and one of the country’s largest infrastructure projects. At the site on the north-western coast of the Mediterranean Sea, four power units are being built with modern VVER-1200 generation 3+ water-cooled reactors with a capacity of 1,200 MW each. The project is being implemented by Egypt’s Nuclear Power Plants Authority (NPPA) in cooperation with companies of the Rosatom Group.
