Hotel in Bahrain

Post-tensioned concrete slabs 230 mm thickness for ten-storey (parking and 9 apartment floors) building in the Kingdom of Bahrain have been designed by STS. Bonded PT system consists of 4 strands 1860 MPa strength 15.7 mm diameter in flat tendons. The use of post-tensioning has reduced the consumption of concrete and reinforcement in comparison with conventional slabs.
