Main solutions
Prestressed elements are represented by tendons of 19 strands 1×7 with a diameter of 15.2 mm in accordance with EN 10138-98, with 18 tendons in each rib of the superstructure.
Tendon layout: straight in plan view; in the vertical plane, they are partially polygonal and partially straight, ensuring optimal force distribution.
Anchorage and tensioning
The tendons of sections L3 and R3 were anchored in the SK-19 anchor heads. Sections L2 (R2) and L4 (R4) were joined and fixed at the SK-19 joints. Sections L1 (R1) and L5 (R5) were joined at the SK-19 joints and secured with AKS-19 anchors.
The tendons of section 3 were tensioned from both ends, while the remaining tendons were tensioned from one end only, followed by grouting of the ducts. This creates an upward camber of the superstructure from pier 1 to pier 11 and ensures durable bonding of the reinforcement to the concrete.
